We are AGI, a company that works with elite private audiology practices around the world. This Privacy Statement explains how we protect the privacy of personal information that you may provide to us on sites that link to this Privacy Statement.

AGI works closely with our US-affiliate, Audigy Group, LLC (“Audigy Group”).  Audigy Group complies with the U.S. – E.U. Purpose of Privacy Statement

The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to explain what AGI does with personally identifiable information that you provide to us online, such as your name, mailing address, phone and email address and additional information provided offline such as your fax number, SSN and billing information. We want you to know how your personally identifiable information will be protected, who we may share it with, and for what purposes.

Collection of Your Information

Many of our services do not require any form of registration or identification. However, there are some instances when we will ask you for personal information. This allows us to send you information that you request or to contact you about AGI products and services on either a one-time or on-going basis. We may also use the personal information you provide to us in order to establish and administer your account and provide you with our member services. Providing us with this personal information is optional but if you choose to withhold any personal data requested by us, it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the site or for us to provide the materials, information or services that you would like to receive.

Data Integrity

AGI takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data collected is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. AGI limits the collection and processing of personal information to what is necessary to fulfill the intended purpose.

Consent to Provide Your Information to AGI

We offer you the option to discontinue your consent ("opting out" or "unsubscribing") if you later decide that you no longer want to participate in a program or service. . If you wish to no longer receive information regarding AGI products and services you may follow the unsubscribe instructions within each email communication you receive.

Collection of Anonymous Computer Information

When you visit our websites, we do not collect any personally identifiable information about you without your permission. However, we do collect anonymous information about you if your computer is set to allow that type of collection. (You can turn off the ability to collect some of this information on most computers.) This type of anonymous information allows us to evaluate customer interest in our websites and perform other market research activities, such as surveying browsing habits on our sites. It also allows us to monitor traffic to our websites. (For those who are interested in the details, some of the typical computer techniques we may use are "cookies" (placed both by us and our third-party partners), as well as “Log Files”. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.).

The use of cookies by our partners, such as Google Analytics, is not covered by our privacy statement. We do not have access or control over these cookies. Our partners use session ID cookies to track the number of visits to a particular page, etc.

We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients.  This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. 

Social Media Features

Our Web site may include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

AGI will not share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties, such as marketers, for their own separate use unless we have obtained your consent to do so or as otherwise outlined in this Privacy Statement. When you provide personally identifiable information to AGI, it will be accessible to some of AGI’s business partners, such as companies we retain to fulfill requests for information or to provide assistance to us on specific programs or projects or to send you emails on our behalf. In those cases, the other companies may also have access to your personally identifiable information. AGI requires third parties to whom it discloses personal data to protect personal information using substantially similar standards to those required by AGI. We also require that they not use your personal information for any separate use that is not specifically authorized by AGI.

There may also be instances where AGI may be required to share your information with third parties who have not been retained by us (directly or indirectly), for example, if ordered or directed by courts or other governmental agencies such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. If AGI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information. Many entities receiving personally identifiable information under these conditions have privacy requirements that apply to their handling of your information.

Security of Your Information

We use appropriate technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect data that pertains to you from loss, misuse or alteration. Of course, no organization can guarantee the absolute security of personal information. You should keep in mind that Internet transmissions, particularly email transmissions, are never 100% secure or error-free. Accordingly, we also caution you to guard your own computer and password against unauthorized access by others. Public Forums

Our Web site may offes publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, contact us at info@audigygroupintl.com.  In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Advertising

We partner with a third-party ad network to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partner may use cookies and Web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on this and other Web sites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt-out by clicking here. Please note this does not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

Testimonials

We may post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information.  We do obtain the customer's consent verbally or via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you want your testimonial removed please contact us at info@audigygroupintl.com.

Links to Other Sites

This Privacy Statement applies only to the websites which link to this Privacy Statement and not to third-party websites. We may provide links to other websites which we believe may be of interest to our visitors. We aim to ensure that such websites are of a high standard. However, due to the nature of the World Wide Web, we cannot guarantee the privacy standards of websites to which we link or be responsible for the contents of sites other than this one. This Privacy Policy is not intended to be applicable to any linked, non-AGI site.

Transfer of Your Information

When AGI transfers personal information to countries other than the country where the information was provided, we do so in compliance with applicable privacy laws. We endeavor to protect personal information entrusted to us no matter what country it is stored in or transferred to and seek to have appropriate procedures in place to help ensure the security of your personal information.

Updating and Accessing Your Information

We encourage you to update the information that you provide to us, such as providing us with a new mailing or email address by contacting us at info@audigygroupintl.com.  This will help us continue to provide information to you that best meets your needs.

In addition, AGI complies with laws and regulations applicable to the right to amend your data in our files. These rights are limited in some ways. In addition, in order to protect your data from unauthorized access or alteration by third parties, all requests to update or access your information will be subject to verification of the identity of the requesting individual.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at info@audigygroupintl.com.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We will respond to your request for access within 30 days.

Updated AGI Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement becomes effective on June 6, 2012.  AGI may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to review our Privacy Statement periodically.
